Birdies are rare on the “Orchard” hole. The elevation change from tee to green is approximately 35 feet. The key is to drive your tee shot down the right side of the fairway, avoiding a large oak tree and four grassy hollows on the left (which are hidden from view on the tee). The second of these hollows pushes into the fairway, narrowing the primary landing area to 50 feet. The front left corner of the green is protected by a bunker which requires the player to pay attention to their approach shot. The front right and back right pin positions are very challenging. There is a collection area for stray shots on the back right of the green.
