“Glade” is Scottish for an open passage through the woods. There are three choices from this tee. The first would be to avoid all the hazards and lay up in front of the right fairway bunker leaving a fairway wood to the next landing area. The second option would be to position a drive short of the bunker on the left side of the hole leaving a mid iron lay up or a big fairway wood to reach the green in two. The final option is to work a long draw off the tee past the right bunker. This leaves a fairway wood or long iron into the green. The green is very demanding and slopes significantly from back to front and off on the sides.
